To provide administrative support and services to all members of the Practice team. The post requires patient contact, common sense and a duty of confidentiality. The post holder must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills. The post holder must be organised, enthusiastic, have excellent customer care skills and be able to work accurately and calmly in a pressurised environment. The post involves liaising with GPs and other medical/support services. The post holder would work collaboratively in both the administration office and reception teams.

This role is office based and will involve prolonged periods of working on computers using bespoke software. You will need to treat any and information you handle with strict confidentiality. You will be patient facing at times and will need to deal politely, calmly and helpfully when handling people’s complex health needs as well as help the practice maintain a good reputation and uphold government set targets.
GCSE Math and English grades A to C / 9 to 4 or the equivilant (Functional Skills Level 1 or 2)
