Apprenticeship Summary

  • To provide support to the day to day management of reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Identify and rectify ‘odd jobs’ e.g. unblocking sinks, showers, ‘making good’ damaged paintwork in timely and effective manner
  • Provide support for repairs throughout the property
  • Liaising with onsite contractors to ensure completion of work, all work to be carried out in respect of site health and safety procedures
  • Undertake regular building walks to identify any maintenance requirements or Health and Safety risks and support the completion all resultant actions in accordance with the core operating procedures
  •  Undertake scheduled flat inspections and recording of same. Complete all resultant actions in a timely manner or escalating where necessary
  • Record, log and monitor any maintenance issues that may arise within the property.
  •  Attend team meetings
  • Support in monitoring compliance with Planned and Reactive Maintenance procedures, such that buildings are safe for both our Customers and our Employees
  •  Assist with the maintenance records to ensure they are kept updated for all services, inc PAT testing and fixed wiring certification
  • Contribute and support the growth of an urbanest team spirit, working in line with the values and encouraging others to do the same
  • Adhere to our operating processes, business systems and standards
  •  Ensure that all Property Documentation Files are accurate and up to date where possible
  • Adherence to H&S policy Communicate effectively, whether face to face, via telephone or in writing, with customers and colleagues, clearly understanding and responding to their needs or escalating appropriately
  • Ensure compliance, security and integrity of customer data used
  • Exercise initiative in providing excellent customer service, liaising effectively with Managers and other colleagues
