This course is ideal if you want recognition for more advanced skills like managing a team, controlling and checking resources and training staff. It is perfect for those who are in an existing role as a supervisor and may already be working in commercial or industrial cleaning, kitchen supervision or caretaking and maintenance for example.
You will focus on how to train employees, how to develop and implement a risk assessment plan for your own area of responsibility and learn how best to support equality and diversity in the workplace.
Assessment and training will happen in your place of work and will be very much centred around your current job role.

Although there are no formal entry requirements for this course, you will be expected to demonstrate English, Maths and ICT skills to at least Level 1.
You should already be working over 30 hours per week and will need to attend an information session before starting the programme. There will also be a literacy and numeracy assessment prior to the commencement of the apprenticeship training.
