The course will enable you to provide sensitive and professional frontline care for vulnerable adults within a variety of settings including their own homes. You will learn about all aspects of adult care including health and safety, physical and mental wellbeing and communication. The qualification will provide an ideal entry into the sector and support progression within it.
This qualification is suitable for you if you are already working in the health and social care sector in a deputy, assistant or manager role and have not already received a vocational qualification at this level. It will give you the managerial and care skills to enable you to continue to deliver services at a very high standard as well as open new doors for you in a variety of health and social care fields.
This Level 2 apprenticeship is ideal if you are looking to start a career in this sector and will give you training for a range of responsibilities needed to work in a pharmacy.
As a Healthcare Science Apprentice you will work in a Clinical Engineering department and will learn foundation techniques to carry out low-risk, routine, technical and scientific procedures. The Level 2 Healthcare Science Apprenticeship will last a minimum of 12 months and will provide an excellent insight into aspects of healthcare science.
This Level 2 pathway is suitable if you are currently working within this sector or are looking to gain employment within this sector as a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
On this Healthcare Clinical Care Level Three Apprenticeship, you will gain good technical knowledge of the sector and, combined with real, practical and work experience will gain competency in the workplace and the development of transferable skills.
As a Level 3 apprentice on this pathway you will cover many aspects of adult care including care practices, principles and standards, safeguarding and the importance of communication and active listening.
